There is a lot of debate right now in the basketball world on whether or not Steph Curry has surpassed Lebron James as the face of the NBA, but there is no debate on who the AP Sportsman of the Year is.

NBA champion and league MVP Steph Curry was named the AP Sportsman of the Year on Saturday.

He joined Lebron James, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird as the only NBA players to win the award in the 85 year history of the honor.

Currently, Curry has his Warriors playing even better than they did a year ago during their championship run and after their win over Lebron and the Cavs on Christmas Day, the Warriors are 28-1.
