Confidence is in short supply for the Sioux Falls Skyforce as the Canton Charge put together a run in the final quarter to earn a 100-82 triumph at the Sioux Falls Arena on Friday night.
If the Skyforce want to lay hold to a playoff spot in the present, two wins this weekend would go a long way. Here we have a down-trodden team in the Energy, with a depleted roster, not to mention the coaching upheaval in January ripe for the picking by the barnstorming visitors.
The Sioux Falls Skyforce opted to shake up the roster after a couple of lackluster performances against Tulsa last weekend. Dividends were immediately realized in a 94-93 win over the Austin Toros.
In a matter of two days, the Sioux Falls Skyforce turned over 30 percent of their roster. The Skyforce announced Tuesday that the team has acquired forward James Mays from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Gabe Pruitt.
