Nate Baumann

Nate Baumann's only hit on Friday night was the biggest of the game for the Sioux Falls Canaries. The Canaries' second-year pro from Augustana led off the ninth inning with a home run, breaking a 4-4 tie against the Kansas City T-Bones and sending the Birds to a 6-4 victory at Community America Ballpark.

Local college baseball fans will get to see a familiar face in the Sioux Falls Canaries lineup in 2013.  The birds have signed former Augustana College All-American Nate Baumann.
