A pair of wins against division rivals St. Paul and Fargo-Moorhead has earned American Association Pitcher of the Week honors for Sioux Falls Canaries ace Ben Moore.

Sioux Falls Canaries starting pitcher Adam Champion has been named the American Association Pitcher of the Week for July 22-28. Champion is the second Canaries pitcher this month to be selected for the award.
Birds Sweep Awards
Fresh off of a four-game series sweep of Sioux City, the Sioux Falls Canaries swept the weekly American Association awards on Monday.
The league announced that Canaries pitcher Kyle Ruwe was named Pitcher of the Week, and leadoff hitter Nick Van Stratten was named Hitter of the Week.
NSIC Baseball
Crosstown rivals earned weekly baseball honors from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. University of Sioux Falls pitcher Derek Fischer was named NSIC Pitcher of the Week and Augustana catcher Jack Goihl picked up Player of the Week honors.
