As many of you listened to our coverage of Super Bowl XLVII LIVE from New Orleans over the last few days, you heard me talk about how great the NOLA did of hosting this year’s big event.
I was not exaggerating as they did a tremendous job of hosting the game, the festivities and the fans.
Super Bowl XLVII was a classic. Big brother beat little brother, Joe Flacco finally won the big game, Ray Lewis went out on top, Beyonce was so good she made the lights go out (allegedly, not 100% positive), and Colin Kaepernick nearly pulled off the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever.

NEW ORLEANS - A power outage at the Super Bowl put the nation's biggest sporting event on hold for more than a half-hour Sunday, interrupting an otherwise electric, back-and-forth game that ended with Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens as NFL champions thanks to a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
In the week leading up to Super Bowl XLVII, it sometimes seemed there were more members of the media than fans in New Orleans. The result? Microphones and video cameras were everywhere picking up dumb comments by 49ers and Ravens players who would probably much rather just play the game.
