His height and speed at that age was on a different level than his peers and it does surprise me that he didn't get more looks from D1 schools before attending DII Minnesota State in Mankato, MN.

Thielen attended Detroit Lakes High School in Detroit Lakes, MN and was a life long fan of Vikings great Cris Carter.

Now living out his dreams, Thielen is carving out his own path in the National Football League with his home state team, the Minnesota Vikings.
