There were 75 sprint cars signed in for competition from all over the country at Jackson, Minnesota’s famed track. Jackson Motorplex was the home of an all sprint car showdown.

There were four different classes of the open wheel action for the big half mile. Three winged classes included 410’s, 360’s and 305’s. The fourth class was the non-wing cars.

The top class, 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store, was won by a driver out of Texas. Aaron Reutzel, of Clute, Texas, won the $10,000 first place by five seconds at the finish line.

Dusty Zomer, from Brandon, South Dakota, drove the number 82 Buffalo Wild Wings car into the runner up spot after leading a handful of laps. North Dakota’s Mark Dobmeier came in third followed by Brian Brown, out of Missouri.

Skylar Prochaska, from Lakefield, Minnesota, was fifth. Two Australian drivers were sixth and seventh, Brooke Tatnell and Kerry Madsen respectively. Dominic Scelzi, from Fresno, California, finished eighth, Australian Ian Madsen and California’s Tim Kaeding finished out the top ten.

In the other three classes, Derrik Lusk won the 360’s, Brandon Allen the 305’s and Brandon Halverson was victorious in the non-wing competition.
