Perfect Gift for a Newborn: Lifetime Hunting, Fishing License

What to get a newborn? How about a lifetime of hunting and fishing - at least in the state of New Hampshire.

Officials with the State Fish and Game Department there say it's the best baby gift ever for the outdoor family.

The lifetime license costs $300 plus a processing fee of $4.50. Currently in New Hampshire, the annual license free runs $46.

The buyer gets a certificate to present to the new parents. Once the child turns 14, the certificate can then be redeemed for a lifetime license.
