According to a report from COED.com, it appears that that the Minnesota Timberwolves are atop the NBA.  No not the standing in the Western Conference, but atop the league in prices they charge for beer.

At the Target Center, during a T-Wolves game, it will cost you $9.50, just edging our Phoenix & Detroit who have their prices locked in at $9 per brew.

Many times you see this in a market where attendance is down, as the team tries to make up for lost revenue in ticket sales by picking up some extra change from concessions.

Another interesting tidbit in regards to the Timberwolves is that they just announced a $97 Million Dollar renovation to the Target Center sparking many to believe that is why you saw the $2.50 increase in per beer price from a season ago.

Interesting as that may be, when you look at the teams at the bottom of the list, those who charge the least, you find to really good teams only charging $5 per beer, that being the Spurs and Thunder.

Take a look at the rest of the teams in the NBA and how they stack up.
