According to the Minnesota Twins website, right-hander Carl Pavano continues to struggle as he tries to regain his form following a righ shoulder strain.

MLB.com's Joe Frisaro stated that the pitcher's command and movement were sharp, but the velocity just wasn't there yet.

After a three inning stint at Class A Fort Myers, was happy with his control.

"My stuff definitely was better and a little sharper today, but the velocity is still down," Pavano told Frisaro. "For me, I'd like to see the velocity come back a little more. But I was locating my pitches a lot better than I had in my last two starts. So that's important."

Pavano is slated to throw again Tuesday, but the pitcher hopes to rejoin the team sometime in August.
