VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — The University of South Dakota women's basketball team is out of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.

The Coyotes lost to Northern Colorado 59-58 on Sunday in a second-round matchup in Greeley, Colorado. USD's Nicole Seekamp sank a shot as time expired, but she wasn't beyond the 3-point line when she let the ball go.

The Coyotes end their season with a 26-8 record.
