Vikings Open U.S. Bank Stadium With Packers
The anticipation for Vikings fans got even greater tonight after the NFL released the 2016 schedule and their NFC rival was listed as the week 2 home opener.
Sunday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 the Vikings will face-off against the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium as one of their four prime time appearances.
Last season the Vikings and Packers met twice and split wins. Week 11 the Packers won 30-13 and then the Vikings return the favor with a week 16 win 20-13.
