This week the sports world saw a couple of pretty big hires, but which one will prove to be more significant?

In the NFL, Tim Tebow made headlines by signing with the New England Patriots. No telling yet what his role will be (they already have a quarterback, don't they?), but much of the sports world blew up when the news broke.

Over in the NBA, the newly retired Jason Kidd was hired by the Brooklyn Nets as their new head coach. Kidd had quite a career in the NBA, including winning a title in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks. He also spent 2001-2008 playing for the Nets, but in New Jersey.
