Yankton School Board Votes to Keep Crane Youngworth Field
YANKTON, S.D. (AP) — The Yankton School Board has voted unanimously to keep Crane Youngworth Field in operation.
The Daily Press & Dakotan reports that a recent community survey found 63 percent support for keeping the field as the high school's football stadium. About 1,500 people responded to the survey.
Board member Jim Fitzgerald says the next step is to pursue much-needed repairs to the facility.
