Everyday from 1 - 4 p.m. ET, Danny Kanell joins Ryen Russillo for one of the most popular radio shows on ESPN called Russillo & Kanell.

While Russillo has always had his hand in the radio business, Kanell was a former quarterback in the NFL and before that was a standout at Florida State University.

At FSU, Kanell started two years while throwing for 5,738 yards, 49 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.

Kanell ended up being drafted in the fourth-round by the New York Giants as the 135th overall pick. He played three seasons before being cut for cap space and ending up with the Atlanta Falcons for two years.

After that he played a season of indoor football with the New York Dragons and then found a job in Denver for the Broncos as a backup.

Despite his lack of success in the NFL, he has definitely found his calling in the radio business.
