Broncos Reportedly Giving Von Miller The Payday He Wants

Miller is undoubtedly a top five, if not a top three defensive player in the league and after last seasons performance, he was bound to get a payday. 

According to an ESPN source, the Denver Broncos have offered the Super Bowl MVP a six-year deal that will make him the highest-paid non-quarterback ever.

Reports surfaced earlier today that the Broncos offered Miller a six-year worth $114.5 million with $70 million guaranteed.

Sides agreed on a six-year $114.5 million deal earlier in June but disagreements on guaranteed money resulted in Miller receiving the franchise tag.

Miller said that he refuses to play the 2016 season under the franchise tag and with Friday's deadline for franchise tag players to get deals done, the pressure is all on the Broncos.

In five seasons with the Broncos, Miller has totalled 60 sacks, 204 tackles and 16 forced fumbles in 72 regular season games.
