I know we already have enough to worry about, but now there's something new, and some experts are calling them a "nightmare."

USA Today carried a story about superbugs, something new to be infected with that can't be treated but can be fatal.

Seems the superbugs have turned up in hospitals and nursing homes--where people are already sick or, in the case or nursing homes, might be vulnerable to more bacteria or viruses than usual.

And here's something else if you aren't scared already: the superbugs are invulnerable to antibiotics.

The USA Today story says there's also concern that other, more common bacteria could become more resistant to antibiotics because of the superbugs.

I don't have a clever way to end this.

We'll just hope the bad bacteria will stay away from us, and that experts can come up with a way to help people fight them off.

In the meantime, I think I'll go wash my hands.
