Two district number two seeds collide tonight in Brookings as the Bobcats battle Sioux Falls Lincoln in boys basketball.

Brookings(13-4) has won five of out its last six games, including a win over previous No. 2 Pierre 66-65 last Friday. Braxton Carlson tossed in 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He leads the team with 8.4 rebounds a contest.

Brookings is also in the race for the coveted ESD crown too.

The Bobcats have won eight games this season by four points or less.

Lincoln(10-8) on the other hand is coming off a 60-43 win at O'Gorman on Tuesday. The Pats shot 62 percent in the second half and were led in the paint by two sophomores, Addison Park and Malik Dunn.

LHS last won back-to-back games on Dec 29 beating Sturgis as a part of a 5-0 start to the season. Jeff Halseth's crew is 0-5 in road non-conference games too, losing at Marshall, Yankton, Huron, Sioux City East and Watertown.

Elsewhere in "AA"  tonight, Washington travels to top-ranked Roosevelt. Yankton entertains District two leader Brandon Valley.
