Alf, RG3 Make the Moves in Redskins Backfield

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - It's not easy playing backfield buddy to Robert Griffin III. He might put the ball on your numbers, then yank it back based on how he reads the defense.

The arrangement worked pretty well in the Washington Redskins' season opening win. Sixth-round pick Alfred Morris ran for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win over the New Orleans Saints - even though he and Griffin bumped into each other a couple of times.

Morris says he hasn't played in an option-style offense since high school. He says it's important to get a feel for when the quarterback is going to keep the ball.

Says Morris: "It's like riding a bike. Once you learn it, you know it. But you've got to get a refresher course."
