Augustana has a nine stroke lead after the third round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Golf Championships.

The Vikings shot a 324 Saturday for a three-round total of 980.  Concordia-St. Paul is second at 989, 25 strokes ahead of third place Minnesota State-Mankato.  The University of  Sioux Falls is in ninth place with a team score of 1090.

Augustana has four players in the top ten individually.  Maggie Leland leads the tournament with a three round total of 235, five strokes better than Concordia-St. Paul's Savannah Stone.  Leland shot a five over par 77 on Saturday.

The Vikings' Allie Ostrander is fourth, MarisaToivonen is sixth, and Jennifer Pederson is in eighth place.  USF's Tavia Rutherford is tied for ninth.

Augustana is looking for its fifth straight NSIC Championship. The Vikings have had the individual medalist at the NSIC Championships three times in the last four years.

The final round begins Sunday at 9:00 am at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton, Minn.
