CINCINNATI (AP) - Reds manager Dusty Baker was headed back to Cincinnati on Sunday after spending four days in a Chicago hospital getting treated for an irregular heartbeat.

Baker missed the Reds' 6-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday that clinched the NL Central title. He was allowed to return home on Sunday, but wasn't expected to attend a night game against the Dodgers at Great American Ball Park.

Bench coach Chris Speier is hoping that Baker will be allowed to manage on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Reds have a day off Monday, giving the 63-year-old manager time to rest.

Baker was hospitalized on Wednesday when the Reds were in Chicago playing the Cubs. Baker's had an irregular heartbeat for some time.
