Best Dunk that Never Counted

On Wednesday night the Minnesota Gophers beat Illinois by 17 points in a Big Ten Match-up.

However, even though Illinois did not win, their top scorer Brandon Paul had a most memorable dunk that never even counted.

Driving down the lane on a half court set play, Paul elevated to go for a dunk and exploded for a SportsCenter worthy dunk on Gopher Trevor Mbakwe. The dunk was called off because of a offensive charge.

In my mind though, anytime someone is able to make a highlight real dunk as Brandon Paul did, I say throw out the rule book and sit back and enjoy.
