The Sioux Falls Skyforce trimmed the roster one day after topping the Iowa Wolves in an exhibition contest. Regular season basketball is just days away for the NBA G League.

Fourteen players are with the ‘Force as the first game of the season is set for Saturday November 4 at the Memphis Hustle. There have been two subtractions and one addition since training camp opened on October 23.

Added was Matt Williams, Jr. the second Miami player on a two-way contract who had been with the Heat without appearing in a game so far this season. Williams joined the Skyforce late last week.

Subtracted were returning guard Stephen Croone (6-0, Furman) and Tre Burnette (6-5, South Dakota) who both appeared in the tune up game on Sunday in Des Moines. Croone was in three games last season and scored 4 points in 9 minutes against the Wolves. Burnette made both his free throws in 6 minutes off the bench and was drafted in the third round of the most recent NBA G League Draft.

Particulars from the game included an 18-point rally by the ‘Force that spanned the last two minutes of the second quarter all through the third stanza. The deciding basket came with 3.2 seconds left on a bomb by Derrick Walton, Jr. who finished with 17 points. High man was Erik McCree with 19 while Torrey Craig posted 17 points.
