Legendary college basketball coach Bob Knight essentially threw a chair at the legacy of college basketball coaching legend John Wooden.

The comments stem from Knight's disgust with the way players ended up at UCLA.

According to ESPN.com, Knight said this during a interview with Joe Buck in the upcoming episode of "Undeniable with Joe Buck".

"I have a lot of respect for Wooden as a coach, how he coached. He was a good coach, but from then on, and I don't mind saying it, I don't respect Wooden, because he allowed Sam Gilbert to do whatever it took to recruit kids."

Knight went on to say, "Personally, I liked John, as a person, but it isn't just John, it's a whole UCLA approach to recruiting. I think John was called in and told he didn't have to worry about recruiting, that they had people that would take care of that for him."

Without saying it, Knight basically concluded that Wooden was a over rated coach. He basically said he won with the best players hand delivered and many others could of as well.

Don't buy the "respect" card either. Bob is just sugar coating the fact that he thinks the overwhelming love for Wooden is over blown.

I'm not mad at Knight and in fact I think some of it is true, but what also is true, is that Bob Knight is still throwing chairs.
