The United States Hockey League announced Monday that Sioux Falls Stampede netminder Art Brey has been named USHL Reebok Goaltender of the Week after going 2-0-0 with a 1.50 Goals Against Average (GAA) and a .954 save percentage in back-to-back wins over Green Bay.

On Saturday, Brey recorded his third shutout of the season in front of a sellout crowd at the Arena, stopping all 31 shots faced in a 3-0 victory over Green Bay. The Yorba Linda, CA native helped the Stampede complete the weekend sweep of the Gamblers by stopping 31 of 34 shots in a 5-3 victory. It was also the 35th win of his USHL career which began last season in Dubuque where helped lead the Fighting Saints to an Anderson Cup and Clark Cup championship.

Brey is 4-1-0 with a 2.20 GAA and a .928 save percentage over his last five starts. Overall on the season, he holds a 11-9-2 record with a 2.91 GAA and a .904 save percentage.

The Stampede are 5-1-1 in the month of February and return to action this Friday for an I-29 showdown in Sioux City against the Musketeers. The Herd return home on Saturday when they host Fargo at 7:05 PM.
