The University of Nebraska football team has had long standing tradition of producing NFL talent.

This years NFL Draft may not directly indicate the level of talent in regards to numbers of players drafted, but with Rex Burkhead being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, its clear that the quality of talent is there.

Rex had a great career at Nebraska and would of been even better if it wasn't for a couple of nagging injuries.

Now in the Bengals system, he will bring a added dynamic to that offense.  Being able to run the ball and have the ability to catch and release is something that the Bengals desperately need and will get that with Burkhead.

Rex Burkhead joined Jeff Thurn on Overtime to talk about the moment he was drafted as well as the transition from Nebraska to the NFL.

Take a listen and enjoy.
