City Rivalries Highlight This Week’s SD High School Basketball Schedule

It's a busy week of high school basketball here on ESPN 99.1. This week features two inner city match-ups and Rapid City Central coming to town.

Coverage begins on Tuesday night at 7:00 as the Roosevelt (4-5) girls battle Lincoln (6-3). This will be the first of two games between the two teams. Lincoln found itself back in the top five of our ESPN99.1/KELO-TV/KBHB basketball poll after picking up wins against Yankton and Brandon Valley last week. As for Roosevelt, last week they defeated Aberdeen Central 56-35.

High school boys basketball takes the stage on Thursday night at 7:00 as Washington (5-4) travels to 3rd ranked Roosevelt (5-1). This will also be the first meeting between the teams this season. Washington picked up two big wins last week against Lincoln and O'Gorman. Roosevelt enters the game on three game winning streak as they defeated Rapid City Central, Aberdeen Central, and Sioux City West.

A doubleheader featuring Rapid City Central and Roosevelt on Friday night caps off the week on ESPN 99.1. Roosevelt traveled to RCC just last week. The Roosevelt girls dropped a game to RCC 49-37, while the boys defeated Central 71-62 in overtime. Coverage begins at 6:00.
