BURNABY, British Columbia -- The University of Sioux Falls men's soccer team played competitively with No. 4 Simon Fraser University but a late three-goal barrage decided the outcome of the Clan's 6-0 victory over the Cougars Saturday night in Burnaby, British Columbia.

The Cougars dropped to 1-9-2 (1-6-2, GNAC), while Simon Fraser ups its mark to 11-1-0.

The Clan held the visiting Cougars without a shot on goal.

Simon Fraser took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute and added scores in the 13th and 35th minutes to lead 3-0 at halftime. USF held the score there until the Clan tallied three goals in the final 13 minutes of the match to create the final margin.

Senior Brice Holiday led the Cougars with four shots, while classmate Ryan Keohane added two shots. The Clan led 23-9 in shots and held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.

USF junior goalkeeper Kyle Simons recorded seven saves.

The Cougars will host Saint Martin's on Thursday at USF Field with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
