We've reached the final week of the Summit League regular season and for the South Dakota men's basketball team, there is still work to be done.

With an 8-6 conference mark coming in, the Coyotes could finish as high as third or as low as fifth heading into the Summit League Tournament in Sioux Falls next month.

USD pushed its overall win total to 15 games with a 77-62 win over IUPUI at home last Saturday.  In that game, the Coyote defense forced 17 turnovers, while the offense knocked down 10 three-pointers.  Tyler Larson led the way with 21 points and 13 rebounds, earning him Summit League Player of the Week honors for the second straight week. USD led by double digits, despite the Jaguars shooting over 60 percent for much of the game.  Coyotes head coach Craig Smith on the win:

The final week of the regular season begins with a home date against Denver Wednesday night at the DakotaDome.  The Coyotes beat the Pioneers 74-69 in Colorado, January 4.  In that game, USD took control with a big second half run and limited Denver to just three offensive rebounds and two second chance points.  Coach Smith on the rematch:

Tipoff is 7:00 PM Wednesday in Vermillion.
