CONWAY, AR -- South Dakota won both its matches on the final day of the Central Arkansas Tournament. The Coyotes defeated Jacksonville State in five sets and Jackson State in four.

Sophomore outside hitter Kendall Kritenbrink (Gretna, Neb.) led the USD offense with 35 kills. Tori Kroll (Germantown, Wis.), a junior setter, had 85 assists and 27 digs, both team highs.

The Coyotes (6-5) overcame a 2-0 game deficit against Jacksonville State to win 16-25, 23-25, 31-29, 27-25, 15-13. Amber Aschoff (Ankeny, Iowa) had a game-high 17 kills, while Natalie Walseth (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) had eight blocks.

USD won its second match of the day in four sets, 25-15, 25-15, 17-25, 25-16. Lindsey Sathre (Maple Grove, Minn.) had solid all-around performance, leading the team with four blocks and four service aces and also adding 11 kills.

South Dakota’s next match is Friday at Western Illinois. It will be the team’s first conference match of the season.
