Wednesday, Dakota State University announced their fall 2013 football schedule. The Trojans will play 10 games, including four home games.

Dakota State is joining a new conference, forming the newly North Star Athletic Association. The NSAA features DSU, Jamestown (N.D.), Mayville State (N.D), Presentation College (Aberdeen, S.D.), and Valley City State (N.D).

Dakota State plays their opener at Peru State (Neb.) on August 31. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.

The Trojans first home game will be September 7th against Dordt College.

The rest of Dakota State's schedule features two straight NSAA games on the road, at Valley City State and Presentation College. The meeting between DSU and Presentation will be the schools first ever meeting.

The Trojans return home on September 28 to face GPAC foe Corcordia for their homecoming game, and the next week play Dakota Wesleyan in Madison.

Dakota State's next two games are at Jamestown and at home against Briar Cliff. The Trojans end the season on the road at South Dakota Mines, and at Mayville State.

The NAIA Football Championship Series will begin November 23.
