The best stories are those that have a wide gulf between the combatants.  History has given us the great battles such as David the lowly shepherd versus the battle tested giant Goliath.  Mongrel Americans dueling with the mighty British.  Villanova against Georgetown.  Ah yes, basketball where the bedlam over two successive days knock 32 teams into next season at the college ranks.

One would think that the professional level would be where the skill and athleticism span is not so wide amongst the competitors.  We present to you a different sort of big versus little.  Choose your favorite throw down with the big, bad NBA on one side and the upstart NBA Development League on the other.  Note the contrast, though with the smaller player getting the best of the bigger man on the D-League clip.  Dunk of the year candidate DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers posterizing Brandon Knight of the Detroit Pistons or Chris Roberts of the Austin Toros slamming on the 7 foot 5 inch Will Foster of the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
