New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is making his farewell tour in Major League Baseball.

Jeter received his first gift on Wednesday from the Houston Astros. The Astros gave him a custom designed Yankee pinstripe cowboy boots with his 'No. 2,' a Stetson cowboy hat, and golf clubs.

Last year, Yankees closer Mariano Rivera played his final season, and teams gave him gifts throughout the season. Perhaps the best gift Rivera received was from the Minnesota Twins: a chair of broken dreams.

Jeter is 40, and has played for the Yankees for 20 seasons since 1995. He's collected 3,317 hits, and has a .312 career batting average while winning five World Series titles in his career in New York.
