If you are a parent of a child that loves to play basketball, you know how difficult it can be to get them registered for summer basketball camps. It often seems that they fill-up even before you hear about the camp's availability.

Good camps can be tough to find, but one youth basketball camp that wants those interested in learning more about the game is available, if you are willing to travel. The Northern State University men's basketball team is gearing up to host a youth camp in June.

Located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Northern State University will be hosting young basketball players who want to focus on skill development, shooting and scoring. Campers will get lessons from not only members of the NSU men's basketball team, but head coach Paul Sather and assistant coach Matt Sevareid.

Boys and girls in grades kindergarten through sixth grade can take part in the camp scheduled for June 1-4, 2015.

The NSU men's basketball team will also host three additional camps for boys in early July.
