The Eagles added more depth on their offensive line on Wednesday, signing former Colts third-round pick, Le'Raven Clark.

Clark tore his Achilles in Week 13 of the 2020 season, but if healthy enough to play could provide another depth option and could make former first-round pick Andre Dillard expendable.

Clark, 28, was a third-round pick out of Texas Tech in 2016 and is listed at 6 feet 5 and 311 pounds.

His signing adds depth to a position that was racked with injuries last season. Six different players started at least one game at tackle for Philadelphia, Jason Peters, Jordan Mailata, Matt Pryor, Lane Johnson, Brett Toth, and Jack Driscoll

He has started at both left and right tackle, something Dillard struggled with during his rookie season.  Dillard had a rough outing playing right tackle but seemed much more comfortable playing his natural left tackle spot. Clark has also played right guard during his time with the Colts.

There are obvious ties to new Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, who was the offensive coordinator with the Colts, giving Clark a solid chance of sticking around, if he is healthy enough to play.

Clark has appeared in 47 NFL games, starting 15, including three games last season.

The Eagles offensive line could turn out to be one of the better units in football if they can remain healthy.  The team was decimated by injuries in 2020 with 13 different line combinations in 16 games.  Adding Clark gives the team a player with more familiarity with Sirianni's offense.

With Dillard's lack of versatility, he could be used as a trade chip, with the Eagles still needing to find a starting cornerback, the former first-round pick, might be attractive to a team hurting for offensive line help.
