All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast

In celebration of an F-86 Saber Jet setting what was a new speed record of 671 mph on September 15, 1948 EAA Chapter 289 is celebrating the event by holding an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Pancake Breakfast served with eggs, sausage, coffee, milk, juice and milk.  So plan to honor this special event with your family and friends by heading to Tea International Airport between 8:00-10:30 AM.  Our grill will be hot and the grill masters ready to set a new record number of the best grilled pancakes in any three state area. With all the changes around our hangar at Y14 please use the EAST DOOR for entry.  And feel free to be an active part of this special event by helping our over paid crew members set up, cook, serve and/or clean up.  If you can help out please let me know at the number below and try to be there around 7:00.

Our monthly meeting will start at 8:00 AM in the meeting room side of the hangar, all members are welcome to attend.  As a fund raiser we are still recycling aluminum and lead acid batteries.  If you have either of these items please bring your items to the hangar and thank you in advance.  If we have planes and pilots available we’d like to offer Young Eagle rides if weather permits.
