First Sports of the Day: World Series, Football Playoffs, Skyforce

We have High School football tonight as the playoffs begin.

Sioux Falls O'Gorman hosts Aberdeen Central. Jerry Palleschi has the play by play beginning at 6pm on ESPN 99-One.

Other area match-ups have Sioux Falls Roosevelt hosting Watertown, Sioux Falls Washington takes on Rapid City Central, Brandon Valley faces Rapid City Stevens, Harrisburg will meet Huron and Tea is at Madison.

College basketball: Augustana University women's is picked to finish 3rd in the NSIC. University of Sioux Falls picked 10th in the preseason poll.

MLB
A 2-run home run in the 11th inning gave the Houston Astros a 7-6 over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Games 3 and 4 will be in Houston this Saturday and Sunday. The World Series is here on ESPN 99.1.

Training camp has begun with the Sioux Falls Skyforce with many elements of change involved. Skyforce General Manager Adam Simon will put to use new implementations by the league. The Skyforce will begin their season on the road Saturday November 4. First home game on Monday November 6.
