It would normally be a game that the Miami Heat would like to forget. However for the Sioux Falls element involved, there was a silver lining.  Result of the Friday night game was a woeful second half performance in a Dallas 93-72 road win.  

Starting with Hassan Whiteside, his star turn continues after returning from a serious ankle injury to post a triple double (also known as the triple dozen) against the Bulls. The newly minted man in the middle added to his cache with 16 points and 24 rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks.

Tyler Johnson earned his first significant court time with 24 minutes logged shooting 2-4 from the floor with 4 points, 3 assists and a team-high 3 steals with a blocked shot as well. One of those assists can be witnessed below as Johnson remembered how to work well with Whiteside.

Shabazz Napier got the start for the Heat tallying 8 points and 2 assists in 17 minutes. Justin Hamilton who has languished on the bench did get in the late goings marking the first time that all four Skyforce alums got on the court during the game.

While we’re at it, let’s mention the Philadelphia 76ers picked up a win over Minnesota 103-94 with Larry Drew II getting 13 minutes without scoring but did deal 3 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds. Down on the farm on assignment, Andre Dawkins drained 6 from long range and put up 27 overall as Maine topped Canton 104-92.

To cap the Friday night success story, Sioux Falls posted their fourth straight win.  In the process, the ‘Force now rests atop the Central Division by percentage points over Fort Wayne.
