Former Heisman Trophy Winner Rashaan Salaam’s Death Ruled a Suicide By Coroner

The unexpected death of Rashaan Salaam this month was presumed by many to be a suicide and it was confirmed this week.

According to reports, the Boulder County Coroner's Office officially ruled his death a suicide.

Salaam won the Heisman Trophy in 1994 and was picked by the Bears in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft.

Salaam passed away at the age of 42.
