Former QB Jared Lorenzen Wants The Jets To Sign Him

It’s been a wild and tumultuous NFL off-season full of deflate-gate chaos and new Hall of Fame inductees and now broken jaws and hefty requests can be added to that list.

Not too long after New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith had his jaw broken in an altercation with now former teammate IK Enemkpali, an interesting situation arose. One man's injury is another man's big opportunity - or so they say.

Hefty Lefty” has voiced his desire to be signed by the New York Jets amid Geno Smith’s injury, feeling pretty confident as he took to twitter.

Even if Jared Lorenzen never steps on another NFL field for the rest of his life, at least he made one hilariously valiant effort. NFL teams have done worse things than signing a 320 pound former indoor football league quarterback all in the name of ticket sales. I for one would certainly be entertained to see Mr. Lorenzen in the NFL and who knows, maybe we will.
