High School Athlete of the Week

Lucas Wilber
Roosevelt High SchoolLucas is a senior at Roosevelt High School. He plays WR in football, basketball and is a pitcher for the RHS baseball team. He was part of the RHS football team that made the semi-finals this year and is starter on the the varsity baskeball team that is currently ranked #1 in the state. He was also named to the All-City Football team. He has a 3.2 GPA and "enjoys all his classes at Roosevelt"
Nic Steffl
O'Gorman High SchoolNic is a senior at O'Gorman High School. He plays football, track and participates on the Weight lifting team. He was part of the O'Gorman Knights FB team that made the semi-finals this year in the playoffs. He was also named to the All-City FB team as the offensive captain. His GPA is 4.251 and is enrolled in numerous AP classes.
Madison Kuehl
West Central High SchoolMadison Kuehl plays volleyball, basketball and track. She excels as a scholar and is currently in AP Classes at West Central as well. She looks to continue her basketball career at the next level and play in college.
Nate Gerry
Washington High SchoolThis week's athlete is Nate Gerry. Washington High School Football Player. Senior. 6'2, 215LBS. Plays Wide Receiver and Safety. His role model is his head coach Brian Hermanson. He is going to attend University of Nebraska next year to play football.
