I think one of the hardest things in the world to do is admit that you have a problem.

Addiction is a horrible disease to have to deal with and I am happy for Johnny Manziel that he was released from a treatment facility after admitting his problem and seeking help.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Manziel was released today after being in treatment since January.

Johnny "Football" checked into the facility way back on January 28 in an effort to "be a better family member, friend and teammate," family attorney Brad Beckworth said in a statement issued to ESPN on February 3, days after Manziel finally sought some help.

According to that same report, the Cleveland Browns expect Manziel to be at offseason workouts on April 20.

A year ago, I had high hopes for the rookie, but in the regular season action Manziel saw, he struggled and never looked comfortable.

Hopefully, with the addiction part of his life under control and his mindset hopefully on football, this season could be a reemergence for the one time Heisman Trophy winner.

Either way, if he does succeed on the field or not, I'm more concerned with him succeeding off the field and the steps he's taken lead me to believe he will.
