INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Colts receiver Donnie Avery never doubted he could make it back from a devastating knee injury. He just didn't expect it take two full seasons.

Once considered the cornerstone of the St. Louis Rams' receiving corps, Avery essentially fell off the NFL map when he missed the entire 2010 season and had only three receptions in 2011 with Tennessee.

He's found a new home in Indianapolis. In Sunday's 23-20 victory over Minnesota, Avery tied his career-high with nine catches including a key 20-yard reception on the game-winning drive.

Avery already has 12 catches for 148 yards and one TD this season, and the Colts expect things to only get better for Avery and the offense.
