Throughout the year we get caught up in our daily lives, taking for granted all the joys we experience each and every day.

Usually around the Holidays, most of us get an opportunity to spend time with family, have some time off to reflect and start to ponder the year that was.

Each year, I fall into the same trap as most, over looking all that has made me happy and joyful while taking for granted all the things I’m thankful for.

So do me a favor… Take some time and do as I have, look back, reflect and think about what you are thankful for this year!

As we march toward a new year, I present my 15 Days of Thanks!

Day 6:

As we sit here on December 20th, 2013, I want to first of all wish my wonderful wife a Happy Birthday.

Then I want to give thanks for her.

We all go through life experiencing the good and the bad and its obvious that going through it with someone who is a great person, makes that journey so much easier.

Everyone has their ups and downs, but knowing they will always be there for you is truly a calming ease that you can't quantify.

My wife Paige is gorgeous, sweet, understanding and fun.  All things that make my life so much easier. (she has some other characteristics when i screw up, but will give her a pass because I'm writing this on her B-Day).  And I know I wouldn't be where I am today without her!

I know for a fact that I take her for granted.  Guilty.  So goes life.  But as life goes on, I know I will work on continuing to be a better husband and hopefully as life goes on, I don't take her for granted as much.

So this holiday season, grab you significant other, as I will, and give them a extra hug and remind them of why you've decided to travel through life together!
