Kareem Hunt Released by the Kansas City Chiefs

On the same day that a video was released by TMZ showing Kareem Hunt physically assaulting a woman back in February, the Kansas City Chiefs have released their star running back.

A lot of details continue to come out but what is clear is that the Chiefs were unwilling to continue their relationship with Hunt after they believed he lied about the situation in question.

The team issued a statement about their decision.

Spencer Ware is expected to move into the starting role for the Chiefs as they take the field against the Oakland Raiders this Sunday.
