Keyshawn Johnson Jr. will not return to Nebraska after he was pulled from the program by his father, former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson prior to this year.

Johnson Jr. had been involved in an on campus incident in which he was in possession of marijuana and subsequently taken home by his father.

At the time, they left the door open to a return, but it was confirmed via his Twitter account on Friday that he wasn't going to return to Nebraska.

This move isn't surprising as Mike Riley had recruited him out of California and once Riley was fired, there wasn't a connection between Nebraska and the Johnson family anymore.

He would of fit well in the high powered offense that new head coach Scott Frost looks to bring to Lincoln, but some things are just never meant to be and it seems that is the case here.
