There were questions of how Lincoln would perform on Tuesday night against O'Gorman without one of their star players. Those questions were quickly answered.

Addison Park was ejected in Lincoln's previous game against Rapid City Stevens with about two minutes left. Due to that, Park was not allowed in the building. For the Patriots, they continued on as if nothing changed.

Lincoln held O'Gorman to just a single point for about five minutes of the opening quarter. The Patriots outscored the Knights 19-11 in the first and never looked back. The Patriots defeated the Knights 76-66.

O'Gorman was not able to get into a rhythm in the first half. It felt as if their basket was covered with no opportunity to score in the first half. They managed to battle back in the second half to cut the lead down to eight, but couldn't draw closer. Davis Cowan led the Knights with 18 points.

Lincoln was led by Malik Dunn's 26 points, which most came from inside the paint. Kaleb Johnson added 14, and Tate Lindsay scored 9 points. Nolan Burchill provided a spark off the bench with nine points.

The Knights have a week off before they finish their season against Washington next Tuesday night. Lincoln moves on to face Brookings, Brandon Valley, and Roosevelt to finish off their regular season slate.
