Over the last few years, Linval Joseph has been a driving force for the success of the Minnesota Vikings defense.

The Pro Bowl defensive tackle now has a new home out west as he has landed with the Los Angeles Chargers in free agency.

The NFL Network first reported that the deal is worth $17 million over two years.

This addition will drastically help LA's defense slow down the run and it adds a major leadership presence in the locker room.

The Chargers recently released Brandon Mebane and Joseph immediately fills that role and improves the position group for Los Angeles.

In addition to the great player Joseph is on the field, the LA community will get a great person off the field as well as Joseph is always involved in charity work.
