Offensively, the Sioux Falls Skyforce can look back at the second game against the Los Angeles D-Fenders and be plenty proud.  However, the visitors put together an impressive three point shooting display to pick up the 128-121 victory at the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday night.  The loss stops a seven-game win streak for the Skyforce.

Overall, the D-Fenders were the team in control for a large portion of this contest.  The lead changed hands for the final time with 9:56 remaining in the second quarter.  There was a brief tie early in the third quarter and Los Angeles built a 17 point spread early in the fourth quarter.  A 26-11 spurt by Sioux Falls made it 111-109 midway through the fourth, but the home team could draw no closer as 3,003 fans followed the action.

Sioux Falls (10-3) saw their streak snapped despite shooting better than 50 percent of their field goals and 10 of 24 from long range.  The D-Fenders (4-7) shot about the same percentage from the floor overall, but was a blistering 15 of 25 on the long ones.   Four D-Fenders converted the 15 bombs with the ringleader being C.J. Williams (34 points) followed by Jamario Moon (24 points), Manny Harris (24 points) and Andre Ingram (20 points) to spur the Los Angeles attack.

On the Sioux Falls side, DeAndre Liggins continues to be the standard bearer for doing whatever is needed at the time.  His 27 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists were a testament to his all-around game while Justin Hamilton notched 27 of his own with 10 rebounds.  Rookie A.J. Davis picked up his second straight double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Charlie Westbrook provided 16 points and 6 assists off the bench.

Monday night will mark the return to action for Sioux Falls as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants will play host.  Meanwhile Los Angeles will visit the Idaho Stampede on Monday as well.
