The Minnesota Vikings own the eighth pick in May's NFL Draft, and there's plenty of speculation of the team taking a quarterback.

Who might that signal-caller be?

Mettenberger is coming off successful ACL surgery earlier this year in January.

At 6'5", and 224 pounds, 2013 was Mettenberger's best statistical season. He threw for  3,082 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He completed 64.9% of his passes.

Another big name quarterback that could be chosen by Minnesota is Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel. However, last week, new head coach Mike Zimmer did say Manziel has red flags, and wasn't impressed with the 'sideshow,' Manziel put on at the Aggies pro day.

The NFL Draft is later this year, and begins on May 8.

Which quarterback should the Vikings draft? Should Minnesota draft Manziel, Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, or Mettenberger?

Manziel, Bortles, and Bridgewater are top-ten projected draft picks. Carr is projected from anywhere in the first or second round. Mettenberger is projected in rounds three or four.
